Located near Otovalo, Ecuador, this beautiful Hacienda is 300 years old. It used to be staffed with over 1000 workers (or slaves) to make textiles, produce and other wares.
It is now a lovely hotel, they've kept a lot of the fixtures and have preserved the essence of the Hacienda.
The immaculate gardens are amazing ... They have 3 llamas, 2 peacocks and 3 horses. Esperado is a racing horse (2nd fastest in Ecuador) ... And his two sons Esperado 1 and Esperado 2 (not exactly original names :) ).
The manager, Victor, was the most welcoming host and by the end of our stay we had wished we had spent more time there!!!!
