We are traveling to South America for two months (if we're not deported first). Our trip starts in Brazil, then on to Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands and finishing in Panama.

American Airlines Website
So before we leave Miami, I'd like to share with you a story that added about 50 grey hairs on our collective heads. On Sunday we decided to checkin online and we noticed that flight out of and into the US had been assigned as aisle seats ... There were seats available with the same color coding ... So we made the changes and at the end the site wanted to charge us an extra $150 per person ... So we cancelled the changes and verified that our old seat assignments were there. The next day talking with out tour operator, we were told that as a result of attempting to change our seats, our old seats were now unassigned. This meant that we were not booked anymore on any of our flights to and from South America. They did verify that AA's website had problems ... And they were able to reassign our seats again. Note to self ... American Airlines website is crap!!!!
